Synopsis:
An amount of abandoned garbage in the vacant land at the end of the city of Calama in Chile. Stray dogs and gypsies have settled,
the place is like a no man’s land where one can breathe an untouchable atmosphere.
There is always a strong wind blowing on the flat ground.
Shingo Yoshida made a wind instrument installation with abandon bottles.

“When I was young, I wanted to be a detective.”

Japanese artist Shingo Yoshida lives in our world without really belonging to it. He chooses to withdraw, often taking off to the most remote corners of the planet: Siberia, the Amazon, the Svalbard Archipelago in Norway or the Atacama Desert in Chile, investigating natural environments where existence is entirely different than ours.
